Brandi passante made an instant celebrity after her appearance on A&E's reality series 'StorageWars. The show also included Jarrod Schulz, who was Passante's partner of many years and now husband. On this show, items from storage lockers where rent is not paid after three months are auctioned off. Brandi and Jarrod, who own and manage the "Now and Then' thrift store located in Orange, California, participated in the show in the desire to purchase storage units at a bargain price. They did not realize this show was going to become reality-TV stars! Through the program the couple showed themselves to be very tactful bidders, and were subsequently the top performers on the reality show. Their popularity on the show's reality boosted their company and they were able to start a new shop addition to the one they had already run. Their role in "Storage Wars" also led to a spin-off show "Brandi and Jarrod Married to Work' focused on them.
